Mangaon Ta!

Today feels confusing in a sense that it's bright and yet there are raindrops that keep falling on my head. Wait..What? Somehow that line seems so familiar and definitely shows which generation I belong to ha ha ha ha. Shhhhhh, That would be our secret. Anyhow since It's somewhat rainy I thought why not prepare soup for lunch and so I did. Tadahhhhh.. Pork soup!! Yum yum. Definitely good for the soul.

Piping hot pork trotter soup with lemongrass, ginger and  green chili. Nom, Nom, Nom  makes me hungry again looking at it. I usually eat it with lots of rice pahleaaazzz no judgement, I'm just that kinda girl. I also make a dip made of calamansi and fish sauce. I wonder what you guys eat it with? And how do you usually cook yours. I have different versions of pork soup and this is just one of them. Ok chay time to stop thinking about it or else you're going to eat another plateful of this hot yummy goodness. So til next time fellow eaters.

Here we go again.  I mean back to the start. I wonder if I should do an introduction of myself or just randomly pick a topic. Hmmm  hard choices. This is my first post on this blog. I did have one before but because I have been so out of it I forgot all about it. I hope I can find my old posts and  re post them here in the new blog. I had some pretty interesting topics there before so I hope I can do justice on this new blog and post new ones too. It is kinda refreshing though being a newbie again since lots has change over the years. I will slowly post topics and pics and just things related to my family life or my life in general. Right now the in topic is this  COVID-19 pandemic which really really hit our lives hard.

I do see a bright side of this pandemic and that is FAMILY togetherness. It has brought family back together. As for my family it brought us back to praying as a family and I find that really helpful and warm. It is during this time that we should call on the Almighty God to help us and guide us.

The earth seems to be healing as well so it is really good news for the new generation. Adjusting is really hard but we as people  and as Filipinos are very resilient when it comes to overcoming  crisis. We are strong, faithful and happy people and I believe nothing can ever take that away from us. So with that said I bid you all a good day and see you lots next time. Ta ta!👀

What's up?
